Soelect Open House: Welcome Governor Roy Cooper, State Senator Michael Garrett, Guilford County Board of Commissioners Chair Melvin Alston, and Mayor Nancy Vaughan

On Tuesday, September 26th, Soelect hosted an open house and announcement event to celebrate National Clean Energy Week. The event featured two headlines: Soelect Pilot Line Kick-off Celebration and Carolina Battery Institute Inc. Launching Ceremony. To celebrate these exciting milestones, we welcomed North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan, and a wide variety of partner groups. The partner groups included leading industry companies like Toyota, John Deere, and Energizer, workforce and business development organizations like NC Works, Guilford Works, and EDPNC, and even colleges and community colleges like GTCC, Forsyth Community College, Randolph Community College, UNC-Chapel Hill, High Point University. Also in attendance were several of our investors and attorney William McKinney from Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. The event brought together multiple impactful groups who will work together to bring Soelect’s vision of a brighter, faster, and greener future to the Carolinas.
