In celebration of Clean Energy Week, Soelect Inc. hosted an open house on September 26, 2023. During the commencement ceremony, Forsyth Technical Community College and Carolina Battery Institute solidified an affiliation agreement to boost Advanced Workforce Development in North Carolina. This strategic partnership, agreed upon by CEO Dr. Sung-Jin Cho from CBI and President Dr. Janet Spriggs from Forsyth, aims to elevate workforce development efforts with the intention to operate collaboratively the ACE program.

The program, envisioned to last 13 weeks, is scheduled to launch in the 2024-2025 academic year. Alan Murdock, Executive Director, from Forsyth and June Sunwoo, Sr. Manager of HR and Business, from Soelect will communicate closely to craft and develop this initiative. Both parties are dedicated to the conservation of the planet by means of energy use and production.
